The exhibition dates for the 125-year birthday of the artist. This jubilee exhibition is to show artist's heritage more broadly and lets you make your own opinion on his creative work. In the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts there was published a catalogue timed to the opening of the exhibition. The catalogue contains articles written by famous art historians, detailed chronicle of Konchalovsky's life and creative work, and also about 100 colour copies of works selected for the exhibition. Trophy Photographs" is the seventh photo exhibition of the cycle "A Year of Maria Rogozina" in Schusev Museum of Architecture. The Museum of Architecture has a unique collection of trophy photos of the architecture of Third Reich. Among them there's a series of pictures taken in August-October, 1939, in order to fix a newly constructed building of the state office of Adolf Hitler - so called Reichschancellory. This exhibition easily may be called sensational because the Museum had never exhibited these pictures before. The exhibition is organized by the Department of Educational and Cultural Programs of the State Department of the USA together with the Museum of New York City. After the terrorist attack in New York on 11 September, 2001, the Municipal Museum of New York City invited famous photographer Joel Meyerovits to create some photographic archive of shambles and reconstruction work at and near the area where the tragedy took place. Photographic archive "11.09" consists of more than 5000 objects and is to become a part of the constant collection of the Municipal Museum of New York and is to be used for investigations, exhibitions and publications. Parallels The exhibition "Jewelry Avant-Guard. Beginnings. The exposition represents 120 works by Russian and foreign masters. The works by foreign artists take the period of 1960-1990s. The works by Russian jewelers were made during last several years. Such a selection doesn't pretend to wide demonstration of jewelry art. This is the chance to show to people the results achieved in this field of art in the West. David Morovits is a famous American doctor and at the same time a man who has been fond of photograph for a long time. When he got his own practice Morovits had to deal with apparatus linked up to camera. His own professional camera was bought in 1966 and his hobby began to compete with his profession. The exposition represents photo works (1980-1990s) with various amazing views of America on them. New exhibition represents two series of black-and-white photos opening his peculiar view on a city, and on the visibility limits.
